DayCare is available from 6:30am to 7:30am and from dismissal to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.  DayCare now has a cell phone {562} 631-3260.

The Parish Center is NEVER to be called to speak to or leave a message for someone in  DayCare 

DayCare calls should be limited to emergency as DayCare staff can not adequately care for your children while talking on the telephone. 

 

St. Bruno does not have telephones in the classrooms.

Telephone - Students will not be called to the telephone during school hours except in the event of an emergency.  Students will not be allowed to use the telephone in the office without a written note from their homeroom teacher.  Students will only be sent to the office to call home if it is deemed urgent and necessary by their homeroom teacher.

(Forgotten lunches, homework, sports equipment, etc. are NOT urgent matters.) 

 

With regard to Cell Phones

Students may never use cell phones to make calls, text messages or take pictures or video while on campus.  Students who violate this policy are subject to disciplinary action including confiscation of the telephone until it can be returned directly to the student's parent.

 

Contacting our Faculty and Staff

Our Teachers do not have direct access to a telephone during the school day but they each have a voicemail extension that you are welcome to use to leave them a message.  If you call during school hours, please ask to be connected to their voicemail. 

Everyone also has email which is checked daily. Faculty and Staff have many jobs they must perform during school hours so please,

do not expect an immediate call back or email reply. 

If you call before/after hours please listen to our recorded message and it will direct you to an appropriate voicemail extension.

Please remember that YOU MUST RESERVE THE HALL THROUGH THE PARISH CENTER, and/or

reserve a CLASSROOM THROUGH THE SCHOOL OFFICE.

 

Ms. Ippolito must pre-approve any

request that involves a “school” event.

  

You are responsible for making sure that the Hall or Room you use is left in the same or better condition than it was prior to your event, meeting, party, etc.

Our custodian has quite a job maintaining both the school and the church.  Should you need his assistance, you must request no less than 3 days in advance and through the school office or parish center.

A work request must be filled out  forms are available at the Parish Center and the School Office. 

Do not make requests to the custodian directly.

(Either Ms. Ippolito or Mrs. Manley in the Parish Center will need to initial your request.)  When requesting the Parish Hall, please make sure you fill out the “Hall Table Set Up” form.

 

 Regarding the Helium Tank.You must fill out a request form no less than 3 days prior to needing it and you must pay the $35 to refill the tank–no exceptions…
